Thanks for the beautiful couch. Most of my decisions were based on durability. This couch will get used by many family members including little active grand-kids and needs to be able to able to handle a high level of use. That's why I chose an additional center "foot", the extra cushion wrap and additional thickness. The single seat cushion makes "lost" item minimal.

I also want to add that the experience was very positive. From the selection process to the delivery, everything went very smoothly. The quality is superior and the delivery was flawless. The delivery man even placed the throw pillows and "chopped" the centers ( like designers do-made me chuckle). I would not hesitate to order again.

Please post my remarks on your website as I want others to know how highly I regard your company.  It has been an absolute pleasure doing business with you. All the claims you make on the website about your producing a quality product are unquestionably true. 

I was in the market for a couch and matching loveseat but couldn’t find what I was looking for in furniture stores.  Being short in stature, I was not comfortable sitting in most of the very deep couches shown today.  Also I couldn’t trust how some of the popular sofas were actually constructed.  And, I wanted a longer loveseat than is typically sold in stores (70” vs 60”) to match a longer couch. When I first came upon your website, I was dubious about buying a sofa sight-unseen. We are conditioned to be cautious about claims we read online now-a-days. A friend tried to talk me into going with a name brand such as Henredon. I was fortunate enough though to visit your plant during a trip to North Carolina and I was sold. Carolina Chair was the company for me. I was also impressed by an article written in the Wall Street Journal about the new internet approach to furniture buying which had only good things to say about Carolina Chair. The author of the article is still happy with her purchase from you after 13 years!

It took me months to decide on the exact style I wanted. At first I was going to have you copy a sofa I saw in a picture. When I was at the plant, your brother pointed out that what I wanted was so close to the Henley sofa, that I decided that was what I would get. After deliberating over many fabric choices, I asked you to special order a Barrows fabric (Allocate Linen) which I am wild about. If anyone is looking for a neutral, sturdy, linen-looking fabric, this is the one to consider. I have dogs and it is important to have a fabric that will hold up to a golden retriever. At last, the delivery service called to set up an appointment (I don’t know how you can provide free delivery but you do). When I first saw the couches, I was close to tears. They are beautiful. The workmanship is excellent. I don’t buy new sofas very often. My old ones (Henredon) were 47 years old! 

I am totally impressed with Carolina Chair and, whole-heartedly and with great enthusiasm, recommend you to anyone wanting to buy new sofas or chairs.  Many, many thanks.

I didn't expect to see zippered cushion covers! I thought you'd use that material to encase the foam. And I especially didn't expect to see another fabric encasing the foam. That's a mark of high quality. It's been about 6 months since our couch has been delivered and we're still in love. I finally got a picture of the couch that I love as much as the couch. Everyone who has sat on it has remarked how firm and comfortable the couch is. The recommended additions really made the couch very sturdy. Everything is holding up amazingly well. We received the sofa today and it really is more than what we expected. It looks fantastic the whole experience has been wonderful from ordering too final product and delivery. I will recommend Carolina Chair to everybody I know looking for furniture. Or even settling for something you may not exactly want because they don’t have it. Before finding you, I looked all over for a couch that met the specifications I was looking for. I knew I wanted a sectional, but the perfect one simply did not exist. After getting your samples and choosing the perfect fabric for my family, I knew it would be beautiful.

Little did I know it would be PERFECT! I couldn’t be happier with the finished product. I was a bit nervous I had gotten carried away with the dimensions and anxiously awaited the delivery. The delivery men were very quick and had everything set up in a few short minutes. My family was there to have the first sit and my little sisters loved it. The fabric is even softer than I expected and we have already had movie nights with friends who also love it.

Delivery Day!!!! 

Our sleeper and chair and a half were delivered late this morning. The pieces are exceptional and look fabulous in the rooms. My husband and I are very pleased with the quality and service we've received from you and the folks from Carolina Chair. I can't believe we ordered these online, sight unseen, from pictures and a small swatch of fabric! They look better than anything we've seen while shopping at the local stores.

Cathy, my folks and my brother were also custom furniture builders for most of my life. My mother was a designer and my father and brother built what she sold as well as other designers. My brother still does some building but he was not an option for me on this project. My dad is almost 86 years old and he is now blind. Before I placed my order with you I went over with him everything you published on your web site. I am 60 years old and this is the first piece of upholstered furniture I have ever bought from anyone. Dad built everything I ever had in my home in the way of upholstered furniture. Even headboards and drapes came from his shop.  Before finding you I looked at all of the franchise stores and I looked at all of the high end furniture stores in my area but could not find anything I was willing to spend my money on or, I felt the price was too high for the quality of product offered. My sister has been through the same thing. 

My sofa arrived this morning. I am very pleased. The tailoring of the piece is a joy to see and the feel of the "seat" is wonderful. I could not be happier. I am especially pleased with the way the skirt lays around the bottom of the sofa and the way the box cushions are so crisp. I expect that this will be the last sofa I ever buy. I intend to enjoy it for years to come. I can't wait to show it off to my friends and family.

It's been awhile! I am still loving my custom sofa, which is still so cozy. The mattress with the inflatable chamber is still going strong and extremely comfy. I'm a happy customer! I've told so many people about your work. My mother-in-law may actually become a customer soon. :)

Since you folks make such great cushions and pillows, I was wondering about the following: I have two vintage armchairs that still look great, but their cushions bit the dust (literally: the ancient foam looked like a box of Captain Crunch got crushed inside (ha ha) and I've been limping along with thin feather inserts that need constant plumping to be even remotely comfortable. Do you guys make replacements cushions for existing seat covers? If I sent the covers to you, could you make new, beautiful, plump cushions for them? I'm not yet sure what the best filler option would be, but maybe you'd give me some advice on that.
